Video Content Is Key for Success
Updated: Feb 25, 2019
Who doesn't like watching video content? Well, 72% of people on the internet prefer watching videos over reading content according to HubSpot.
I have been producing content for the last 10 years. I started with YouTube by creating my own show when I was just 14 years old. I then moved on to Facebook and would share short clips from time to time. Instagram is now my main focus. With instagram, I’ve been able to build up my online brand but I also work worldwide with several different clients helping to build their brands as well. The world is going digital, so why not give your customers an experience online through video.
The first question I always get is, how do I start and what do I film? What I always tell people is you have to be authentic because authenticity is what is going to sell your product or your service. Everyone always thinks you need to think out-of-the-box and that’s not true, as long as you’re authentic, knowledgeable, and relatable with your content the views will come. You want your views to turn into a profit, therefore you must captivate your viewers so they then become your customers.
How do I sell my product or service?
This is another question I get asked all the time. All of this leads to authenticity and believing in yourself, your brand, and your product. Soft selling is key within video content because you don’t want your followers and your current customers to feel uncomfortable while watching. It will not happen overnight, but trust me, if you put your heart into and post quality authentic content the sales will come.
Having up-to-date and quality video content will show your current and new customers you are always evolving. If we’re not evolving we’re not growing. People always want to be a part of a successful brand!
